CALLING ALL CEDARWOOD GARDENERS AND FRIENDS:
Neighborhood horticulturalist Brad Baker will be examining the planted boxes at the Cedarwood playground BEFORE the Cedarwood Association picnic starts on this coming Saturday, August 26.
Come to the playground at 2:00 p.m. to observe and collect the harvest of seeds from cilantro, radish, snow peas, and wintercress. Also taste the basil, purple beans and cucumber growing now.
This is the time to give input about what to plant for the fall–shall it be lettuce and peas? Questions about planting? Ask Brad!
Support is requested for anyone willing to assist with the start of an after-school horticultural program with Cedarwood kids.
